- Brutal Restraint – This search includes a bunch of good rolls, you should just be able to buy the cheapest one. Each of these is in the PoB so you can look at what they give.
- Large Cluster Jewel – 8 added passives with Cold to the Core and Blanketed Snow. Upgrade to one with Disorienting Display as well when able.
- Small Cluster Jewel – Enduring Composure with max 2 passives, and you can turn on DEX in the search as well.
Briskwrap Coloring
The easiest, most reliable way to color your chestpiece is with the crafting bench.
1. Set the chest to 3 sockets.
2. Craft at least 3 red sockets.
3. Set to 4 sockets.
4. If the 4th socket doesn’t land red, set back to 3.
5. Once the 4th red is in place, repeat with the 5th.
6. The last socket is expensive so hope it hits green first try.
Until you get the colors right, you can use 
Concentrated Effect Support, 
Hypothermia Support, or 
Ice Bite Support to replace some red gems.
Gear
This is a detailed explanation of why I wear these items, based on a gear level somewhere between Endgame and God PoB’s.
Helm
No need to get anything fancier than a 
Fractal Thoughts. Between the 15% increased dex when our STR is higher than INT, and the % damage per 10 DEX you can’t really beat it.
With enchants removed in 3.23, we are free to chase a useful corrupt here, mainly “Socketed gems get 90% reservation multiplier” which helps us fit an extra big aura.
Amulet
Astramentis is all you need, beating it with crafting is difficult and gains are marginal. Make sure to get one that’s high rolled and add 
Intrinsic Catalyst.
Chest
Hard to beat 
Briskwrap, but you can craft better.
Boots
Another slot with a very strong unique, you will be wearing 
Garukhan's Flight for the entire game. With enchants removed in 3.23, go for a useful corrupt like +1 max endurance charges.
Belt
Cyclopean Coil is all you need, start by getting one with a perfect 15% attribute roll.
Next add 20% quality with Intrinsic Catalyst.
When you get rich enough, catalyst a second one and double corrupt it for a chance at 2 implicits. There are many good outcomes but you especially want %dexterity or Hatred aura effect.
Rings
One ring absolutely needs Frostbite on hit. This can come either from a Reedemer base suffix, or Synthesis implicit. Most likely you will start with the redeemer and move to synth when you get rich. We don’t crit and therefore cannot freeze without this curse so don’t skip it.
Other than that look for whatever resists you need, life and very high DEX.
The 
Unset Ring base is not needed until you need an extra slot to fit the last aura, unless you desire an extra socket for something else.
Jewels
Brutal Restraint: This jewel puts DEX on every small node in its radius, and adds a bonus stat to every medium node. The bonus stats are determined by the number on the jewel, two brutal restraints with the same number will always have the same bonuses. They can be annoying to search for, so I put a premade search at the top of this page along with a video.
Pure Talent: 25 Attributes and 7% Movement Speed from touching Scion/Ranger starts.
Watcher's Eye: The end goal here is “Damage Penetrates % Cold Resistance while affected by Hatred” plus a Determination mod. You can go for phys damage reduction, armour or reduced critical damage with Determination they are all good.
Unnatural Instinct: One of the final purchases you will make, Gives movement speed, damage, block chance and some life.
Forbidden Flesh: Combined with a matching Forbidden Flame, you can gain an extra Ascend point. Avatar of the Slaughter, Avatar of the Veil and Rapid Assault are all fine just buy whichever is cheapest.
Cluster Jewels
One With Nothing: This is where we get our Hollow Palm keystone.
Large: You want Cold to the Core and Blanketed Snow with 8 added passives to start with. Disorienting Display is the third node to aim for, the price of the jewel will be 2-3 times higher but we get a lot of value from blind with our high evasion. If possible, get some STR or INT here for stat requirements.
Small: Enduring composure gives us reliable endurance charge generation, and we can score some attributes and/or resists here as well.
Flasks
Four of the slots are pretty much locked in with a life flask and 3 uniques, the final slot is flexible.
- Life Flask: This is the setup I run, feel free to change it to your preference.
- Utility Flask: You can run whatever is desired for the situation here, Jade or Amethyst usually. Although the gain on hit got lowered to 3 maximum I still feel it’s strong, but you can run whatever you like.
The Wise Oak: Make sure your cold resistance is highest to gain the benefit from this flask. It will increase your damage, and reduce your lightning/fire damage taken.
Lion's Roar: Easy choice, tons of damage and armour.
Taste of Hate: Very nice mix of damage and defense again.
