The World of Warcraft guild turned world-class esports organization Method has signed on four notable names from the competitive Path of Exile scene, namely Zizaran, nugiyen, Havoc, and Steelmage.
The news comes mere days—three to be exact—before the launch of Path of Exile’s latest expansion and challenge league, Synthesis. Method, who are making their first steps into Path of Exile, point out their new team comes with countless achievements and a depth of experience. Multiple World First titles and countless first level 100’s aside, the team also boasts the current record holder of most time streamed on Twitch in 30 days (505 hours): Zizaran.
Method’s co-owner & co-founder, Sascha Steffens, points out the organization’s ambition to “help shape Path of Exile as an esports”, and claims that signing the team is to be “the first step on a long path of success.”
In addition, Method is to host their first Path of Exile community groupfound race with a guaranteed prize pool of $3000 a couple of weeks into the launch of the Synthesis expansion.
