While players thread half-way through Legion, Grinding Gear Games shares some interesting new tidbits regarding Path of Exile’s latest, though unnamed, content update – 3.8.0.

The release date has tentatively been set for the 6th of September, with Legion coming to an end on PC three days prior on the 3rd. Console players will be able to play Legion up until the release of the new League.

Coming in Path of Exile 3.8.0:

  • A new challenge league.
  • Improved master content (such as character-shared Sulphite and Betrayal (Immortal Syndicate) states).
  • Certain system improvements, which have been strongly suggested and desired by players (but not trading-related)
  • The usual array of new items, archetypes, gems.

Lastly, it has been strongly hinted that the name of the new League is not on the list.

That’s cute but they wiped my entire standard Atlas progress and it is still not back.
