Upcoming Changes to PoE Vault in Heist 3.12

Hello, everyone.

As Harvest League comes to a close, you will notice some changes on the site in the (short) lead-up to Heist 3.12 (be sure to check out our Heist league guide).

Mainly, we will be removing a large number of existing builds, and I wanted to take the time to explain why this is happening and why some of you might no longer be able to find a build you had gotten used to and were perhaps hoping to use going forward in Heist. The main reason for this is that we have taken a more aggressive approach in increasing the quality level for the builds on our site, and as a result we will be removing most builds that fall short of being truly exceptional. Our goal is to provide you with the assurance that any build you choose to use from our site is very strong and will perform amazingly (depending on its strengths and weaknesses, of course).

Overall, you should therefore expect to see relatively fewer builds on the site. This goes hand in hand with another of our changes, which is the addition of several new writers. Announcing the new writing team with fanfare is a bit premature at this point, but these new writers are already taking over some of the more popular builds you enjoyed in the past (like the Baron Raise Zombie Necromancer or the Impale Cyclone Champion) and making them even more awesome than before. Some old builds will remain on the site for a while before we can get around to updating them, but they will be marked with obvious disclaimers to ensure you are aware that they are yet to be updated.

Happy hunting!

It is great to hear that you guys want to assure your readers’ safety in choosing builds from your site. I have experienced many times picking a build that looked promising, but in practice just did not quite make the cut, and then having to start a new character and level that up instead. It is a shame when that happens, but hopefully that problem will be gone with this change. :)

If you mean you had that issue specifically with a build on our site, then I’m really sorry it happened. But yes, we are working hard to ensure that nothing like this will happen in the future, and also that any guide you choose to play will be really strong, and not just decent (which in turn means a lot of skill/ascendancy combos won’t have guides anymore).
