3.28 Teasers Reveal Amazing Quality of Life, Here’s How It Helps You

In a recent video released to the official Path of Exile Youtube Channel, Mark Roberts, the Game Director of Path of Exile 1 revealed the first significant teasers for the upcoming 3.28 Mirage League. Included are some excellent Quality of Life improvements to the Asynchronous Trading Systems, new Campaign Secrets, and many other small but welcome improvements to various game systems.

Currency Exchange and Asynchronous Trade

In 3.28, you will now be able to “favourite” your most commonly used Currency Exchange trades, allowing you, with a single click, to select both an offer and requested currency. The trader will still show the current market ratios, and automatically populate a suggested exchange value, but for people who actively engage with the Currency Exchange you will no longer have to search for all of your most commonly sold or bought items, instead being able to pick them from a list.

Additionally, you will be able to open your Stash and interact with it fully, allowing you to quickly transfer large amounts of currency without having to walk between Faustus and your stash to offload them. With these change, engaging in large quantity trading has never been easier!

For those who trade items more than they trade currency, you can now hover over an item in your sales history to see a full description of an item making it easier to track what items are selling well or quickly, and use that added knowledge to improve your valuable item identification skills.

Together these changes will both smooth out the trading experience even further, and arm players with the tools to engage with Path of Exiles vibrant economy in more targeted ways

Divination Card Rewards Have Never Been Easier!

Another change that will save your wrists and speed up your rewards come in the form of some great changes to the way Divination Cards are handed in. Now, when you hand-in a set of cards the reward will automatically generate in the reward window, no confirmation click required. Then, if you try to place another completed set in the window the previous reward will automatically be transferred to your inventory, assuming you have the space.

These changes together make turning in bulk sets of Divination Cards a much smoother and faster experience, incentivizing people to once again collect their cards and get those rewards.

New Campaign Secrets Bring Additional Guaranteed Rewards

Scattered throughout the Campaign, across all 10 Acts, you will encounter a wide range of new special experiences that have guaranteed rewards. With over 20 new unique secrets being added in 3.28, players in the campaign will be rewarded for exploring each Act to find these additional rewards. While we have very few details on what each encounter will provide as a reward, we were teased with an example of one encounter providing several basic Tattoos for killing the monsters in the event.

Veteran players and Speed-Runners will surely find powerful ways to leverage these guaranteed rewards, and new players will benefit greatly from exciting events with tailored rewards to introduce league mechanics, game systems etc.

Target Farming Transfigured Gems

For the Labyrinth farmers, and Solo-Self Found players, a change to the way the Divine Font works in The Eternal Labyrinth will make getting your desired Transfigured Gems much easier. Now, when offered the choice to “Transform a non-Transfigured Skill Gem to a Transfigured Version” you will be able to select your desired outcome from all available versions of the base gem.

Ritual Signaling and Quality of Life

If you’ve ever forgotten to check your Ritual rewards like I have, there is some exciting changes to Ritual coming. When you complete the final Ritual in a zone you will now have a popup that alerts you that all Rituals have been completed. Additionally, if you have a significant amount of tribute left unspent the Ritual button will glow, reminding you to get those rewards.

For dedicated Ritual farmers, you can now quick-use Blood-Filled Vessels on Ritual Altars in much the same way you can use currency on Strongboxes or Essences

Shrine Prioritisation

A long awaited change, clicking on shrines will now take priority over clicking on monsters when they are grouped close together. This will be most noticeable when attempting to click on Divine Shrines to remove the Invulnerability Aura they provide while being swarmed by the monsters protecting them.
