Carbot’s First Path of Exile 2 Animation Nails The Struggle

CarbotAnimations has dropped their first ever Path of Exile 2 video – and it is hilarious. The team is known for their funny takes on StarCraft, Diablo, and WoW, and now they have turned their style on PoE2. The result? Painfully accurate in all the right ways.

From Courtroom Gags To MTX Mishaps

The video starts with a tongue-in-cheek courtroom scene accusing PoE2 of being “just another Diablo clone,” before cutting into a mock tutorial. It even pokes fun at the game’s control schemes, with the narrator asking if you prefer point-and-click, controller, or something else.

The biggest laugh, though, comes when the player presses M for the map… only to open the microtransactions menu instead. Judging by the comments, that moment hit a little too close to home.

Players Are Loving It

On both Reddit and YouTube, fans are calling the animation spot-on. It captures the dark and gothic feel of PoE2 while still roasting its quirks. Carbot even sneaks in a poetic line – “Sleep my pretties as you grow. Sleep in ice, wake in snow.” – which manages to be funny and strangely fitting at the same time.

Carbot has a knack for roasting games without losing the charm, and players are already hoping this is just the start of more PoE2 animations.
