Since the release of Patch 0.2.0E, several important hotfixes have gone live in Path of Exile 2 over the last few days. These are all very small updates, but they are already addressing a few annoying bugs and balance issues reported by players, especially in endgame maps and damage stacking mechanics.
If you missed any of the changes, here is a quick round-up of everything patched so far:
PoE2 Hotfixes After 0.2.0E
Hotfix 1 – Apex of Filth Boss Fix
- Fixed an issue where Queen of Filth was not spawning correctly in the Apex of Filth.
Hotfix 2 – Spectre Bug
- Fixed a bug where certain vines (like those summoned by Brambleghast) could incorrectly be used as spectres.
Hotfix 3 – Boss Death Respawn Fix
- If you die after killing a map boss, it will now respawn you at the checkpoint without creating a new instance. This avoids losing remaining map content.
Hotfix 4 – Volatility Abuse Fix
- Volatility stacks are now capped at 200. This limit is additive with the ‘Controlled Chaos’ notable from the Passive Skill Tree.
- This is a temporary fix to prevent infinite damage stacking. A more permanent solution is planned.
- Fixed a bug where life-per-second costs would not stop even when Eternal Life prevented life changes.
That is it for now, but more hotfixes are likely to follow as GGG continues making small but important improvements to the game.
