GGG just gave us an early look at Path of Exile 2‘s next patch, 0.2.0h, which is planned to launch by the end of next week. This update focuses on improving endgame systems and adding a handful of quality-of-life upgrades that many have been asking for.
Here is what you need to know.
Endgame Changes Coming in 0.2.0h
Breach Feels Better Now!
If you have been running Breach maps, you will be happy to hear that several frustrating aspects of Breach encounters are being addressed with this update:
- More monsters now show up, even in low-roll cases.
- Longer duration, so you have more time to actually clear.
- Fewer but larger Splinter stacks, which should cut down on spam looting.
Other Endgame changes include:
- Rogue Exiles will be easier to see.
- Azmerian Wisps will behave more predictably when you trigger two at once.
UI Improvements and Stash Upgrades
0.2.0h will also bring some highly requested quality-of-life updates:
- Currency Quick-Use Icons: You will be able to apply currency directly to Strongboxes via new UI icons; no inventory opening needed.
- Vaal Orbs will work the same way with Essences.
- Filter Unidentified Item Tiers: Magic and Rare items with Tiers 1–5 will become filterable, a big request from players running high loot density maps.

Two new stash tabs are also being added:
- Ritual Tab: A dedicated space for Omens and Audiences with the King.
- Socketable Tab: Organizes Runes, Talismans, and Soul Cores, and lets you upgrade runes directly from the tab.
More Loot Filter Control
As mentioned above, this patch will also add support for filtering Unidentified Tier 1–5 Magic and Rare items. This is something players have been asking about since launch, especially those using filters for efficient farming.
Private Leagues Are Coming Back
Private Leagues will be available again with the launch of this patch. You can create them through the Path of Exile 1 site for now. These leagues will not have any special modifiers yet, but they do let you run in a fresh economy with friends or solo. More options will be coming in future updates.
More Changes Coming Soon
GGG says more improvements are planned for this patch and will be shared early next week. For now, 0.2.0h looks like it is going to be a very welcome update, especially for players invested in Breach farming or frustrated with current UI issues.
