Patch 3.27 is approaching the end of its first week, and some players are feeling frustrated with the league so far. The main issue? Not enough loot!
GGG has responded to player feedback in a second “What We’re Working On” post, with a clear set of plans to fix the loot issues.
What’s Wrong with Breach 2.0?

Keepers of the Flame League has felt less rewarding than usual for four main reasons:
- Breaches generate lots of resources to use with the Genesis Tree, but little loot otherwise.
- Hive encounters spawn tons of walls around them that can block players from interacting with other mechanics in the area.
- The Genesis Tree generates valuable items and currency, but requires leaving maps to use it.
- Map Modifier Effect from the Atlas Passive Tree and Tier 17 Map Modifier bonuses were nerfed in Patch 3.27, making high-level endgame farming strategies generate much less currency than before.
GGG Will Fix It!
According to GGG’s post, the team plans to address these issues by adding more drops to Breach encounters in maps. The change will also destroy a large portion of the walls around the area when starting a Hive encounter.
Additionally, GGG plans to add more Foulborn uniques, which should create more build variety and add chase items into the game’s economy.
There are even more changes planned for Patch 3.28, which is expected to launch in early 2026.
