Watch PoE 2’s Third Edict Reveal Stream to Earn a Rare Twitch Drop

Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict is coming soon! On Wednesday, August 20 (PDT), GGG will host the big reveal on their official Twitch channel, and you can earn the Sun Priest’s Incineration Rare Finisher Effect via Twitch Drops for free!

You can either watch the main stream or any channel in the Path of Exile 2 category. All you have to do is link your account to Twitch and watch for 45 minutes to claim the drop. It is guaranteed for everyone who meets the watch time!

Twitch Drops Details

• When:
  • Drops are enabled from August 20, 2025, 1 PM PDT to 10 PM PDT, or August 20, 10:00 PM GMT+2 to Aug 21, 7:00 AM GMT+2
• How to Participate:
  • Link your Path of Exile account to Twitch via Twitch Settings.
  • Watch any Path of Exile 2 stream with Drops enabled for 45 minutes.

Once the watch time is completed, head to your Drop inventory on Twitch and redeem the Sun Priest’s Incineration Rare Finisher from your Twitch Inventory before the promo ends!

If you are a steamer, you have to enable Twitch Drops via your Twitch Creator Dashboard to give your viewers the chance to earn rewards. Any streamer can activate it, as long as you stream Path of Exile 2.

After claiming, the Finisher is immediately available in the microtransactions list for both Path of Exile 1 & 2, and will eventually be available for purchase in the store.

• Light vs Darkness:
  • Light represents harm and destruction (“we burn”)
  • Darkness empowers and sustains (“we thrive”).
• Theme of Survival:
  • True strength comes from “thriving” in conditions others might see as hostile.
• Duality & Philosophy:
  • The teaser suggests embracing shadows and resilience, which might be a hint at the tone and lore of the upcoming big patch.
