Abyssal Lich is an easter egg Ascendancy Class introduced in the Patch of Exile 2 0.3 content update. Find out everything we know so far!
What’s New?
Abyssal Lich is essentially an updated version of the existing Lich Ascendancy for the Witch where 3 existing Notables have been replaced.
- Umbral Well (replaces Necromantic Conduit) – Skeletal Minions you would create instead grant you Umbral Souls for each minion you would have created.
- Unwilling Offering (replaces Blackened Heart) – Your Offerings can target Enemies in Culling range. Your Offerings affect you instead of your Minions. Offerings created by Culling enemies have 1% increased Effect per Power of Culled enemy.
- Steward of Kulemak (replaces Price of Power) – Grants the Abyssal Apparition Skill.
- Consume a Power Charge when you cast a damaging Spell to trigger an Abyssal Apparition who will also cast the same Spell for you. Does not work with Channeling Spells, Spells with a Cooldown, Triggered Spells, Spells granted by items, or Spells which already consume a Power Charge. This Skill is not directly Supportable
- Damaging Spells consume a Power Charge if able to trigger Abyssal Apparition.

How to Unlock the Abyssal Lich Ascendancy?
To become an Abyssal Lich, you must ascend into a Lich first. From there, the next step requires acquiring Kulemak’s Invitation, which drops from Abyssal bosses. Once you bring the item to the Well of Souls, a new choice will become available, letting you jump into it.
The Well of Souls can be located in the Mastodon Badlands upon reaching Act 2. Once accessed, the Well of Souls can be fast traveled to through the Waypoint.
