Path of Exile 2 Launches Free-to-Play on December 11

During gamescom’s Opening Night Live, Grinding Gear Games (GGG) has announced that Path of Exile 2 will officially launch on December 11, 2026. Version 1.0 of the game will be free-to-play on PC, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store.

Along with the release date, GGG also revealed the Duelist, the game’s first sword-wielding class. It specializes in fast, adaptable melee combat and the class can fight with both swords and shields.

The full release of the game will also introduce the campaign’s final two acts, putting an end to the game’s story.
