The next big Path of Exile 2 race season starts on October 5, 2025, with two more events following on October 12 and 19. This time, the competition is all about Act 4, where racers will have to face the new boss Tavakai in a Solo Self-Found environment.
It is not a Hardcore event, but dying will cost you dearly, because each death locks you in place for 2.5 minutes. On top of that, this will be the first race that includes content from the new Abyssal league, so strategies will have to adapt fast.
Race Format and Dates
Each race takes place on a fixed layout and is open to both PC and console players, with a shared prize pool. Everyone starts at the same time, so joining early is highly recommended.
- Race 1: October 5 at 12 PM PDT / 9 PM CEST
- Race 2: October 12 at 12 PM PDT / 9 PM CEST
- Race 3: October 19 at 12 PM PDT / 9 PM CEST
The goal is simple: be the first to take down Tavakai in Act 4.
Rewards on The Line
Top competitors will be fighting for some pretty cool rewards:
- Demigod’s Virtue Unique – awarded to the top player of each class (7 per race).
- Over time, Demigod items will rotate to eventually form a full armour and weapon set.
- Winners can equip them, show them off, trade them, or even convert them into cosmetics using the /convertracereward command.

There are also additional, extra rewards that sweeten the deal:
- Fastest times per class across all races: choice of an official Path of Exile 2 Displate.
- Fastest player overall: the chance to design a custom Divination Card.

Rules and Where to Watch
The races are free to enter, with no limit on how many you can participate in. You can even win multiple Demigod’s Virtues if you are skilled enough. Just be careful with your character names – anything inappropriate gets you disqualified.
Each race will be broadcast live on twitch.tv/pathofexile with casting from ZiggyD and RaizQT, and co-streaming is also welcome.
A Race With New Twists
With the overhaul to skill and support gems, as well as a completely new act full of bosses, this race season is going to be one of the most exciting yet. Add Abyssal mechanics into the mix, and we are in for some seriously unpredictable runs.
