Grinding Gear Games updated the official Path of Exile 2 0.3.0b patch notes with a new set of changes. The biggest added feature is the ability to convert old Premium Stash Tabs into Merchant Tabs, as long as you bought them before the 0.3.0 launch.

Other fixes include:

  • Endgame maps no longer bug out with the “Area is inaccessible” error.
  • Stone Soldiers and other invulnerable mobs in Rituals are gone.
  • Yama, the White, now properly clones Infernalists.
  • Act 4’s final boss checkpoint no longer resets the entire fight.
  • Omen of Abyssal Echoes can’t be abused with pre-rolled items anymore.
  • Instance Manager (Ctrl+Click) now works with the Well of Souls.

The Husk of Dreams unique also got hit with a nerf – it now uses 50% fewer Flask Charges instead of giving a 50% chance not to consume them. All versions of the item are affected.

The Good, The Bad, And The Nerfed

On Reddit, players are glad to see fixes for frustrating issues like broken boss checkpoints, Ritual mobs that refused to die, and stash tab confusion. But the mood changes once nerfs come up. Whirling Slash feels much slower now, which gutted several builds, and minion players are especially upset about losing strong Spectres like Fleshpiercers. One player simply commented with: “They fixed the fun.”

Performance remains another hot topic as well, with PC players saying that they experience fewer Abyss stutters and that the game runs smoother overall, but console users are still dealing with crashes and lingering sound bugs.

And even though the list of fixes is rather long, a few things still remain unaddressed. Reports keep coming in about broken skills like Mortar Cannon, busted strongbox exploits, and minion duration nodes not working correctly. Console sound bugs also remain on the table.

However, Path of Exile 2‘s Patch 0.3.0b is still evolving, so expect more adjustments ahead – especially with so many builds now feeling the sting of unintended nerfs.
