The Path of Exile 2 team is back with another “Boss vs Boss” showcase – and this one is pure madness. It features the fan-favorite Xesht, We That Are One, going up against a swarm of 100 Omniphobia, Fear Manifest, in a simulated arena battle that is both ridiculous and beautiful.
Spoiler: Xesht absolutely crushes it. But the real fun is in how the PoE community is reacting.
100 Monke vs 1 Anime Overlord
The YouTube comments section immediately got flooded with praise, memes, and a few jokes at Omniphobia’s expense:
- “This is just ‘100 monkeys vs. 1’ boss.”
- “Xesht’s theme goes so hard – this feels like a final boss in an anime.”
- “Omniphobia used to be terrifying. Now it’s just cannon fodder.”
Visually, the fight is stunning. The arena lighting, Xesht’s abilities, and the sheer scale of the chaos gave everyone another look at why PoE 2 is still so ‘anticipated’. Even the HP bars told a cool story at one point, with Xesht’s life bar and the enemy’s numbers almost depleted simultaneously.
But Is Omniphobia Still a Boss?
Although the fight was meant to be fun, a few players pointed out that Omniphobia no longer feels like a true boss. In PoE 1, it was one of the scariest enemies from Delirium. In PoE 2? Not so much – at least not in this format.
Some fans also raised a bit of concern at GGG spending time on these battles instead of “fixing melee” or “working on release,” but most seem to be enjoying the content for what it is: a fun, over-the-top showcase of the engine, visuals, and mechanics.
