Ghazzy's Summon Raging Spirits Necromancer Gear, Jewels & Flasks (PoE The Forbidden Sanctum)

Summary – TL;DR

Cap your Elemental Resistances and get the attributes your gems require to make sure you can use them all. There are a few unique item options however, the remaining pieces should be Rare with Life and of course any lacking attributes/resistances.

My quick list recommended approach for this build would then be:

Item Slot Item Name Rarity
Head Life then Res/Attributes as needed Rare
Amulet Life, resistances but most importantly attributes Rare
Chest Life then Res/Attributes as needed (or a Tabula Rasa Tabula Rasa Rare/Unique
Gloves Life then Res/Attributes as needed Rare
Boots Life then Res/Attributes as needed Rare
Belt Darkness Enthroned Darkness Enthroned Unique
Rings Life then Res/Attributes as needed Rare
Weapon +1 to level of all spell skill gems + trigger wand Rare
Shield Recover life on block, spell damage block, Life or The Surrender The Surrender Unique/Rare

Armour Pieces

A lot of the higher budget examples can either be purchased or crafted, and when crafted I would strongly suggest utilizing Craft of Exile to determine the cheapest approach to crafting the desired items.

Since most items in this build are Rare, the main focus will be to have as much Life as possible and sort out any Attributes & Resistances, as we need to reach the desired caps. However, with that said there are some juicy choices one can take to increase the build’s efficiency, although it does come with a higher price tag.

This piece is literally only going to be focusing on Life, Resistances & any needed attributes. If you’re able to get the modifier “+1-2 to level of all minion skill gems” that would be a very nice bonus!

Body Armour

For low budget you can always use a Tabula Rasa Tabula Rasa. A rare 6-Link even corrupted available to purchase from other players can be good as well, just make sure you get the correct colors for the build which with this build would be: BBB-RRR. Higher budget versions would want to use The Covenant The Covenant.

Generic life gloves with any required resistances and/or attributes:

Look for high Life, Attributes & Resistances, as needed. Higher budget options are rather limited in this slot, but getting “+ level of Spectre gems” from an Elder pair of boots is a nice touch, but even for high budget I wouldn’t personally bother. Instead I would go for high Movement Speed to be my priority on top of the defensive stats.

The belt comes with a variety of options. For a lower budget version, you either go for any type of belt, preferably a Stygian Vise Stygian Vise due to the jewel slot, with, again, high Life and attributes/Resistances as needed. However, I would personally use a Darkness Enthroned Darkness Enthroned and smack in a properly-rolled Ghastly Eye Jewel Ghastly Eye Jewels with high Life rolls & the modifier “#% increased Minion Damage if you’ve used a Minion skill recently”.

For higher budget options I would strongly suggest looking at the The Torrent's Reclamation The Torrent's Reclamation, as the Harbinger of Time summoned by this belt provides a buff that circles around you providing 20% action speed which is one of the strongest modifiers you can find in the game, it’s ultimately 20% more movement speed, attack & cast speed for you and any allies or party members within range. If you’re standing close enough to a boss, it’s a brutal amount of damage provided. It also provides lots of quality of life by speeding you up for the sake of summoning new minions as well as moving across a map as you’re clearing it.

Cheap Jewel:

Optimal Jewel:

Do keep in mind that this is the slot where it would be optimal to make sure you have at least 1-2 jewels that provide flat fire damage to your minions, this is to make sure our Zombies can apply negative fire resistance via Combustion & Elemental Army.

The amulet slot is the best place to ramp up any lacking attributes such as Dexterity, don’t forget to get a proper life roll though!

The anoint you want is Arcane Guarding.

Rings are also great slots to get any lacking resistances and/or attribute for the build, just make sure you also have a proper life roll on them! With 3.19 Lake of Kalandra league we are able to get “Bone Rings” which can roll minion modifiers as well which would be ideal if possible.

Standard minion weapon with either + to level of fire, minion and/or all spell skills, preferably with a trigger bench-craft which you can get from unveiling items dropped via the Betrayal league mechanic (Jun).

Cluster Jewels

The only true mandatory Cluster Jewel we are looking for is one with the node Blessed Rebirth, as it makes our minions that were summoned within the last 4 seconds completely immune to damage. This allows us to avoid having our main source of damage wiped out by enemies that deal significant damage over an area. To keep the cost down or even crafting this yourself the cheapest way is to purchase a jewel with the highest amount of passives as shown in the PoB.

The Blessed Rebirth is a modifier found on a Medium Cluster Jewel with the implicit “Minions have 12% increased maximum life”, you either purchase or craft one yourself.

If you are looking for the use of adding this cluster jewel in to a large one with minion damage the modifiers you’ll want on the large one is: Raze & Pillage, Renewal and Call to the Slaughter.

Flask set-ups are almost always a matter of personal taste when it comes to what utility flasks to use. However, I will list the set-up I’ve been using for a smooth play experience. To find the available list of modifiers the flasks can have, check out these links: Utility Flasks, Life Flasks, Mana Flasks & lastly: Hybrid Flasks

Slot Flask Description
1 “Seething” Divine Life Flask Divine Life Flask of Instant life flask that also removes bleed effects from you
2 Rumi's Concoction Rumi's Concoction This flask provides us with the remaining block % that we need to reach the caps
3 “Transgressor”, “Masochist’s” or “Flaggelant’s” Basalt Flask Basalt Flask of “Abalone”, “Tortoise”, “Pangolin” or “Armadillo” The prefix modifier helps sustain the flask charges during map clearing & the flask provides increased physical damage mitigation whilst the suffix increase your armor significantly
4 “Enduring” Eternal Mana Flask Eternal Mana Flask This helps the mana-cost of summoning our minions
5 “Transgressor”, “Masochist’s” or “Flaggelant’s” Quicksilver Flask Quicksilver Flask The obvious movement speed flask with charge sustain prefix modifier, the suffix can be whichever you feel like

For help crafting your non-Unique flasks, we recommend checking out our Flask Crafting Guide.

Minion builds almost always use the same type of jewel: we want to have an eHP increaser, which for this build means a Life roll. The main damage modifier we are looking for is only available from Ghastly Eye Jewel Ghastly Eye Jewel and is the “#% Increased Minion Damage when you’ve used a minion skill recently”. Anything besides those 2 modifiers can be either attack speed increase for your minions or Added Physical Damage for your minions.

Other desirable modifiers are either Taunt or Blind on hit for your minions; these modifiers are exclusive to the Ghastly Eye Jewels. Just don’t forget to make sure you have 1 or 2 jewels providing flat fire damage to your minions for the sake of our Zombies to be able to apply negative fire resistance via Combustion & Elemental Army
