Welcome to our Quick Reference Leveling guide for . This is intended to help players keep track of the quests worth completing, as well as the best order to complete them — if you are looking to level up in a new league as fast as possible but without missing any of the essential quests, this is the guide for you. Some quests are not included, as they are simply not worth investing time towards, even on a league starter. If you are a completionist, however, feel free to deviate from our advised path as you see fit.
This process has been optimized for speed and efficiency, but there are further enhancements race minded players can make. For example, you could opt to skip the Labyrinth trial in the Lower Prison until you have two Quicksilver Flasks and a mobility skill, and save a few seconds. For the majority of players, however, this guide should present the quickest and most convenient pathing possible.
Depending on your character’s level of power, you can opt to do Labyrinth whenever preferable, although we recommend always doing it as early as you are capable. The power spike for many builds is palpable, and you lose less time if the lab is still providing meaningful experience for your level.
Logging out to Character Selection is a great way to conserve Portal Scrolls when leveling your first character in a league. Once you re-enter the game, your character will be in the home city, just as if you had used a Portal Scroll.
If you are leveling on league launch, it is very important that you do not accidentally hit “Exit to Log In Screen” or “Exit Path of Exile”, as you will have to rejoin the queue to log in to the game.
For players unfamiliar with this trick, simply hit “Exit to Character Selection” and immediately hit the ENTER key to log back in without delay. It is also permitted to use an AutoHotkey script to log out to character selection.
