Quick Reference Leveling Guide Act 1

Guide Format

This guide has been divided into in-game Acts, making it easy to view and absorb without being overly long or confusing. At the bottom of each page, you will find a button that takes you to the next Act’s guide. You can also use the Table of Contents above to navigate to any Act.

Act I Guide

1. Kill Hillock at the end of the Twilight Strand.
2. Enter Lioneye’s Watch and talk to Tarkleigh to receive the reward.
3. Enter the Coast and run to the end of the zone. Ensure you acquire the Waypoint. Enter the Mud Flats.
4. Find the 3 Rhoa Nests. Once you have the Ammonite Glyph, Haliotis Glyph, and Roseus Glyph, find the glyph wall and open the exit to The Submerged Passage. Enter and grab the Waypoint.
5. Take the Waypoint back to the Coast and enter the Tidal Island to the right. Run straight to Hailrake and kill him. Logout and turn the quest in with Nessa. Take the Quicksilver Flask as your reward.
6. Talk to Tarkleigh for the gem reward.
7. Take the Waypoint to the Submerged Passage, if you find the Flooded Depths entrance, put a portal down for a possible quick return later.
8. Find the exit to the Ledge.
9. Grab the Waypoint and continue on to the exit to the Climb.
10. Run all the way through the Climb, grabbing the Waypoint if you come across it.
11. Enter the Lower Prison and grab the Waypoint.
12. Take the Waypoint to the Lioneye’s Watch, if you are quick enough, your portal should be open. Otherwise, take the Waypoint to Flooded Depths.
13. Find the entrance to the Flooded Depths. Generally, this is towards the early part of the map.
14. Kill the Deep Dweller, then logout.
15. Talk to Tarkleigh for the Book of Skill, then take the Waypoint to the Lower Prison.
16. Find the Labyrinth Trial and complete it.
17. Locate the exit to the Upper Prison.
18. Find the exit to the Warden’s Quarter’s, and immediately make your way to the Warden’s Chambers.
19. Kill Brutus. Logout or portal back to town.
20. Talk to Tarkleigh to receive the gem reward.
21. Take the Waypoint back to Prisoner’s Gate.
22. Exit into the Ship Graveyard.
23. Grab the Waypoint, always located near the entrance of the zone.
24. Find the exit into the Cavern of Wrath and acquire the Waypoint. If you find the Ship Graveyard Cave entrance on your way, put a portal down.
25. Take the Waypoint back to Lioneye’s Watch and take your portal back to Ship Graveyard or the Waypoint to Ship Graveyard if you did not find Ship Graveyard Cave.
26. Find and enter the Ship Graveyard Cave
27. Retrieve the Allflame and exit back into the Ship Graveyard.
28. Talk to Fairgraves and kill him.
29. Either logout, or take the Waypoint back to Lioneye’s Watch. Talk to Bestel to receive the Book of Skill.
30. Speak to Nessa for the gem reward.
31. Take the Waypoint to the Cavern of Wrath.
32. Exit into the Cavern of Anger.
33. Exit into Merveil’s Lair.
34. Kill Merveil and enter the Southern Forest.
35. Run through the zone and enter the Forest Encampment.
