Ascendancy (Shadow – Saboteur)

Demolition Specialist

Levelling at this stage as a miner shouldn’t be an issue damage wise, so we opt to pic up some defenses here through the Hinder effect. Additionally, some Area of Effect helps your clear just a tiny bit. Not as much as it’ll affect the massive AoE of Hexblast but it’s something while levelling.

Pyromaniac

Again, sustain is key here. As you will or should have plenty of damage, getting an absurd amount of regeneration is always a good thing. Lategame, this should almost always be capped out at 10%, and 10% regeneration is nothing to scuff at.

Explosive Expert

Explosive Expert is a sick node if you can make use of it all. Since we use the Chilling part of the Skitterbot aura (not the Shocking part, as that gets replaced by the Curse Aura) and Hexblast can inflict Shock & Burns, this node gives you 80% Critical Strike Chance, 10% Pen & 40% Crit Multi. Probably one of the best damage ascendancy notables out there!

Born in the Shadows

Honestly, wouldn’t you take this node just for its name? Who doesn’t want to be born in the shadows?
This Ascendancy point focuses around Blind. Blind is a very often underrated defensive mechanic which makes you effectively almost immune to any source of attacks if combined with a good amount of Evasion. Since nearby enemies are blinded, and you blind on hit they will forever be blind. Therefore, on top of already being solid, you get a whopping 15% Damage Reduction on this notable. Super sick overall!

Bandits

There really only is one option here. You want to kill all to help Eramir for 2 Skill Points. None of the Bandit options are particularly useful to you for this build.

Pantheons

Major Gods

Soul of The Brine King is your Pantheon of Choice. It grants you some much needed Stun avoidance & its upgraded part makes you immune to Freezes.

Minor Gods

I would recommend Soul of Abberath here as Burning Ground is incredibly annoying for almost any build. Make sure to upgrade it.

Upgrading your Pantheons

Pantheon powers can be upgraded by using Divine Vessel in the Map Device while you are activating the particular Map that contains the boss you need. Once you’ve killed the boss and captured his soul, you can consume the Divine Vessel, which’ll show up filled in the map device, or deliver it to Sin in Oriath for extra dialogue relating to the game’s lore.
