GhazzyTV's Dark Pact Necromancer Ascendancy, Bandits & Pantheon Powers (PoE Keepers of the Flame)
Ascendancy
The most optimal way to play this build doesn’t offer a lot of free choices when it comes to the ascendancy nodes. In this section, I will go through the nodes you’ll want and why.
My Preferred Set-Up
The ascendancy nodes are listed in order of importance and tied to the way you need to travel to access them.
- Mindless Aggression
- Bone Barrier
- Mistress of Sacrifice
- Commander of Darkness
With the introduction of Bloodline Ascendancies, we got the best gift that Dark Pact could ever hope for. It comes by way of Catarina and is named Umbral Army. This node will replace Commander of Darkness and is in every way an incredible upgrade. Remember that you will need 30% elemental all res to compensate for this while gearing.
Mindless Aggression
Mindless Aggression 20% more minion life. That’s amazing for us.
Commander of Darkness
Commander of Darkness damage scaling ascendancy node which also helps with resistances to alleviate pressure on our gear.
Mistress of Sacrifice
Mistress of Sacrifice is mainly used for the sake of granting us the buff from Bone Offering which helps us reach max block cap and, ideally, survive even the hardest content in the game.
Bone Barrier
Bone Barrier physical damage reduction per minion is a pretty good 4th option, save it for last though.
Bandits
You will kill all of the bandits, as they provide no significant gains worthy of sacrificing the skill points.
Pantheon
Most builds go by personal preference. However, for this build, the Pantheons should be what is presented in this guide. You’ll want the upgraded Soul of Lunaris Major God to help fix physical mitigations and avoid chained projectiles.
You should also pick the Gruthkul Minor God pantheon to further mitigate Physical Damage.
As always, Pantheons are up to you, but these are my suggestions.
