Passive Skill Tree and Gem Links (PoE Mirage
Path of Building
Find our recommended tree from the comfort of Path of Building, available here: https://pobb.in/77Hm97cXdLqb
For levelling the build, please see the trees in the PoB.
We use the Path of Building Community Fork for all of our builds, which is highly recommended. If you are encountering errors importing the build, please ensure you are using the Community Fork.
Passive Skill Tree
There are a few notables that really matter to this build. The most important of which is Precise Technique. Other than that we rely heavily on Tribal Fury for Quality of Life.
Anoint
The primary recommendation here is going to be Circle of Life The oils in question are: 1X
Clear Oil and 2X
Indigo Oil.
There is a chance that you will exceed the attack speed you can safely handle with this anoint. If so, you can anoint cleaving temporarily as it will give you Intimidate and be reasonably close.
Gems
Boneshatter Is the main link and namesake of the build. We want to 6 – link this quickly.
The Auras we utilize in this build are:
Pride,
Determination,
War Banner,
Purity of Fire and
Precision.
Now you might justifiably wonder why we are using
Precision as we cannot scale critical strikes due to Precise Technique, but we are simply utilising this for accuracy. In addition, as we are reserving it on our life, we get to utilise the mastery for +1% maximum elemental resistance.
Leap Slam is our main way of getting around and getting out of trouble.
Boneshatter
This is the baseline gem setup. I highly recommend getting a complex trauma as soon as possible and using that instead. Be advised that the self-harm ramps up way faster with Complex, so you might have to delay the swap a bit. Get it early and level it none the less.
Socket colours remain the same, but multistrike replaces ruthless. Once you get Fortify implicit on chest, Ruthless replaces Fortify.

League content, Coins
With the arrival of the endgame rework in 3.28, we got a new currency, coins.
Three of them allow us to imbue gems with level 1 versions of support gems, intelligence, dexterity and strength related respectively to their types of coins.
Some of these will open up options for builds to offload their worst supports, and for some builds, the level modifiers are still too strong. You’re probably wondering which coins are relevant to this specific build, so let’s talk about that.
The first, and perhaps most important thing to note, is that this system has a lot of RnG involved. It’s random which possible support gem from the respective colours list you get. It is going to take a lot of attempts to hit the correct gem, and it will get expensive. As a result, coins are, in our opinion, a relatively late addition to most builds, as the cost is prohibitive.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about coins specific to this build.
Due to the expense involved with coining a support, we’re not recommending you coin your boneshatter at all. It’s simply too expensive for the point at which this guide stops.
That said, the best coin gem for Boner will be
Fortify Support or
Endurance Charge on Melee Stun Support. Should you get either of these cheaply, on a boner with quality, they are always worth picking up.
Brutality Support
Ruthless Support
Close Combat Support
Impale Support
Herald of Purity
Guardian's Blessing Support
Arrogance Support
