Ky's Cast on Crit Forbidden Rite Occultist Build Guide (Poe Keepers of the Flame 3.27)

Introduction

Forbidden Rite of Soul Sacrifice shockingly remains nearly untouched this patch. With the only hit being a slight loss in ES from the whispers of infinity amulet nerf.

This amulet causes Forbidden Rite of Soul Sacrifice to instead cost energy shield instead of life, enabling the use of Chaos Inoculation, which was impossible before. This build uses Cyclone along with Awakened Cast On Critical Strike Support to trigger Forbidden Rite of Soul Sacrifice. It is incredibly tanky, one button, but leans toward the expensive side and is not viable as a league starter.

Playstyle

Hold down Cyclone and spin in a circle. Use Frostblink while spinning to improve movement between mobs/packs.

CoC Disclaimer

This build uses Cast On Critical Strike Support. Because of this, your goal is to get as close to the attack speed listed below on your cyclone without going over the listed attack speed number, depending on your total cooldown recovery rate across your gear and Awakened Cast On Critical Strike Support.

Leveling

This is an endgame build. I do not recommend leveling with forbidden rite. I recommend leveling with the skill Armageddon Brand as a witch. Just take brand nodes, life, and fire damage, and you will be fine.
