GhazzyTV's Dominating Blow Guardian Ascendancy, Bandits & Pantheon Powers (PoE Mirage)
Ascendancy Choices
As this build changes a bit between the Low and the higher budgets, I will present the two options separately to make it less confusing.
Low-budget Ascendancy Choices.
- Radiant Crusade – Sentinel is big for the campaign and will carry you to maps. He’s immortal now, huge bonus!
- Unwavering Crusade – Relics are a massive damage bonus. This gives us all three elemental auras for free.
- Bastion of Hope – Block is a good defensive layer. Remember to cast convocation or some other spell every 4 seconds or so.
- Time of Need. This shouldn’t be necessary, as you should have swapped before this point, but this is what you take if you haven’t.
Set up for after you have beaten Trialmaster and gone into Chaos Bloodline. This can be done in Tier 1 maps, don’t do it in reds.
Guardian Nodes
- Radiant Crusade – Sentinel is still 20% damage reduction. Massive Quality of life minion.
- Unwavering Crusade – Relics are a massive damage bonus. This gives us all three elemental auras for free.
Chaos Bloodline
- Priest of Yaomac – Lower soul gain prevention, fewer souls spent per Vaal Dominion, chance to not consume souls and +1 soul a second from the small node. Overall, fantastic node for using Vaal dom more, and that’s all we want.
- Corruption’s Embrace – this node is slightly more complicated and has a lot of text and keywords. The important thing to remember is that you want to have at least four corrupted items equipped at any time. Six is better, eight is ideal. You must at all times have four, and that is not negotiable.
Bandits
Kill everybody, get the extra point.
Pantheon
As with most builds, these come down to a matter of personal taste.
For Major, we’d recommend Solaris. Extra phys mitigation vs bosses, prevents chain-crits and is all-around good.
For Minor, our primary recommendation is Gruthkul for even more physical mitigations. Honourable mention goes to Abberath for burning ground.
