GhazzyTV's Dominating Blow Guardian Gear, Jewels & Flasks (PoE Mirage)
Summary
Cap your Elemental Resistances and get the attributes your gems require to make sure you can use them all. There are a few unique item options; however, the remaining pieces should be Rare with Life and, of course, any lacking attributes/resistances.
My quick list recommended approach for this build would then be:
Gearing – low budget. See PoB for gear details on higher budgets

Armour Pieces
We’re going to use Armour/Energy Shield hybrid pieces in every gear slot. The reason for this is socket colouring.
Should you get a good gear piece with the correct socket colours that is pure armour, and you meet the stat requirements, then that is fine too.
Helmet
We’re mainly looking for Maximum life, Minion levels and Attributes here. That’s it. Should you get a resistance roll, that is helpful.
In the higher budgets, we’ll be swapping to an
Archdemon Crown base, but the stat priority remains unchanged.
Body Armour
We’re not looking for anything specific here in the low budget. Any armour roll works. Life modifiers are welcome, so are resistances
The idea for the low budget is that you get the cheapest six-linked piece you can get with the correct colours and play the game.
In the higher budgets, we’ll be looking to
The Brass Dome for massive armour value, crit reduction and maximum elemental resistance.
Eventually, with a beneficial corruption. But any Corrupted Brass Dome will do.
Gloves
We’ll be making use of
Triad Grip with 4 blue sockets for our glove slot. This is to fully convert the damage of
Dominating Blow to lightning.
Boots
Standard boot priority goes here.
1. Movement speed
2. Maximum Life
3. Elemental Resistance, as high as you can afford
Shield
Any shield with Shaper influence works here, but ideally you would want an
Angelic Kite Shield base for the elemental resistance implicit.
We need the Shaper influence so we can roll the modifier “Recover #% of life when you block”. This is a massive boost to our survival.
The only other stat we’re looking for here is Maximum Life. Any other stat you get on this shield is pure bonus.
Weapon
We’ll be maxing use of a claw here.
Twin Claw or
Gemini Claw are the preferred based. Twin is easier to meet the dexterity requirements for, so that’s our primary suggestion.
These bases provide a big mana and life gained on hit modifier, allowing them to solve our resource sustain since we’re constantly attacking things.
For the early version of the claw, you will simply apply an Essence of fear to your claw and craft “trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill, with a 8 second cooldown” on the Crafting Bench.
For the higher budget versions of the claw, please see the below guide.
Belt
Low budget uses
Belt of the Deceiver. This provides us with an reasonable ammount of all elemental resistance, intimidate and some crit reduction. Decent and extremely cheap gearpiece.
Medium budget swaps into Arkhon’s Tools, and high budget goes for the new “Cord” belt type for an extra anoint.
Accessories
Amulet
The Jinxed Juju is our go-to choice for low-budget. Decent amount of attributes, chaos resistance and some damage taken by spectres. All round a great item.
Once we can afford it, we swap over to a
Replica Dragonfang's Flight. As soon as you can afford this item it is worth picking up.
Rings
Bone Ring
The stat priority here is as follows
1. Minion Damage
2. Maximum Life
3. Resistances
Amethyst ring
Stat prio here is simple
1. Chaos res
2. Maximum life
3. Elemental Resistances
Flasks
Flask set-ups are almost always a matter of personal taste when it comes to what utility flasks to use. However, we will list the set-up we’ve been using for a smooth play experience. To find the available list of modifiers the flasks can have, check out these links: Utility Flasks, Life Flasks, Mana Flasks, and lastly Hybrid Flasks.
The PoB is showcasing another flask set-up that works fine as well, again, this is mostly a matter of personal preference when it comes to the utility flasks.
| Slot | Flask | Description |
| 1 | “Terrified” Eternal Life Flask of |
High recovery amount that is instant on Low-Life and Corrrupted Blood immunity |
| 2 | “ Rumi's Concoction |
This flask gives us base armour and block. |
| 3 | “Transgressor”, “Masochist’s” or “Flaggelant’s” Basalt Flask of “Abalone”, “Tortoise”, “Pangolin” or “Armadillo” |
The prefix modifier helps sustain the flask charges during map clearing & the flask provides increased physical damage mitigation whilst the suffix increase your armor significantly |
| 4 | “Transgressor”, “Masochist’s” or “Flaggelant’s” Quicksilver Flask# |
We are melee, movement speed is huge |
| 5 | “Seething” Divine Life Flask of |
Instant life flask that also removes bleed effects from you |
