GhazzyTV's Dominating Blow Guardian Build Guide (Mirage 3.28)
Introduction
This is a build created in collaboration with Lollash. He has the crazy ideas, I know minions, and occasionally we end up with a good end product. This is one of those times. If you want to play Minions and you want to punch things in the face, this might be the build guide for you!
With the introduction of the Bloodline Ascendancy options in 3.27 Keepers of the Flame, the Guardian finally got a meaningful 4th ascendancy option for minions. In this case, we will be utilising the trialmaster bloodline for the Medium and High budget to maintain our uptime on the Vaal Dominion better.
Build Overview
In this section, I will outline the pros, cons, and the general playstyle. This will allow you to determine if the build is for you or not!
Pros
+ Melee – Unlike other minion builds, we are a melee skill, and that means we have to hit things.
+ Active playstyle – For a minion build, this has a very active playstyle. There are a lot of buttons to press here.
+ Comfy – While it has some buttons, it has a pretty comfy playstyle.
Cons
– Button intensive – We’re hitting things with Dominating Blow, ascending our normal sentinels to big sentinels, casting our offering, casting our curse, pressing the movement skill and enduring cry.
– Active playstyle – For a minion build, this has a very active playstyle.
– *Requires Corruptions * – In higher budgets, we will have to corrupt at least four of our gearpieces. Ideally, we want to corrupt eight of them, but we need to corrupt at least four.
Playstyle
The build makes use of
Dominating Blow for its bread and butter damage. It also utilises Spectres, a Golem, and an Animate Guardian to round out its offensive and defensive package. We run around and punch things in the face until we convert them into holy friends that follow us around and punch things with us.
As most minion builds do, we maintain our offering as we go. We automate this once we make our claw, so you’ll quickly get away from these buttons. Once we get
Vaal Domination, we ascend our best normal sentinel to a giant sentinel that hits much harder. Focus on using this on your best guy, that means the guy with the best aura.
Once he is secured, you can ascend two of the others as the big boys carry damage pretty hard.

Final Notes
It is very crucial in a game like Path of Exile that you play the game the way you enjoy playing it. With that said, if you’ve made any tweaks to the build compared to what I’m showing in this guide, it would be great if you’d post them in our Discord! It’s an effective way to show other approaches, and it helps me grow as a build guide creator!
I hope you found the build guide useful, and I wish you all many
