Ascendancy (Ranger – Pathfinder)

Nature’s Reprisal

Withered is broken. This node makes it so you always apply a ton of Wither. It’s probably the single greatest source of damage you’ll have in the endgame. Sick pickup!

Master Toxicist

Proliferating is really good in Path of Exile. Whether it is Freezes, Ignites or in our case Poisons, it makes your build so much more reliable. On top of that, this basically doubles your damage, as you will always have a Flask up. Grab this early, to reap its benefits as fast as possible.

Nature’s Adrenaline

This node helps you with Flask sustain, which is needed. It also makes it so your Flasks are up even if you’ve been fighting something for a longer amount of time.

Master Surgeon

This ascendancy node enables Divination Distillate but shouldn’t be picked if you decide to not rely on Distillate to cap your resistances & find some extra magic find. If you’re running a solid strat with 2 defensive Flasks, and you’re foregoing the Magic Find from distillate, Nature’s Boon is much stronger.

Nature’s Boon

As mentioned above, this node replaces Master Surgeon if you’re not using a Distillate. Since Surgeon doesn’t do anything for your other Flasks, Nature’s Boon comes in to boost all of your Ultiity Flasks a bit.

Bandits

There really only is one option here. You want to kill all to help Eramir for 2 Skill Points. None of the Bandit options are particularly useful to you for this build.

Pantheons

Major Gods

Soul of The Brine King is your Pantheon of Choice. It grants you some much needed Stun avoidance.

Minor Gods

I would recommend Soul of Abberath here as Burning Ground is incredibly annoying for almost any build. Make sure to upgrade it.

Upgrading your Pantheons

Pantheon powers can be upgraded by using Divine Vessel in the Map Device while you are activating the particular Map that contains the boss you need. Once you’ve killed the boss and captured his soul, you can consume the Divine Vessel, which’ll show up filled in the map device, or deliver it to Sin in Oriath for extra dialogue relating to the game’s lore.
