Path of Building – Passive Skill Tree

Every build I release will use the community fork of Path of Building. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.

Since players have different budgets, I will provide two versions of this build: a non- Mageblood version and a Mageblood version.

Gem Setups

To simplify things, I will refer to the item slots where you will socket the gems.
But remember that in POE1, you can socket these gem setups into any item that has the correct number of linked sockets and the appropriate colors.

**Because this is a late endgame setup, all gems should be leveled up, unless a specific level is specified, and have 20% quality on them.

Body Armour

1. Shrapnel Ballista
2. Void Manipulation Support
3. Withering Touch Support
4. Volatility Support
5. Increased Critical Strikes Support (Again, Increased Critical Strikes! I’ve seen a bunch of players taking Increased Critical Damage, which does not benefit our build!)
6. Lifetap Support

Bow

1. Automation
2. Lifetap Support
3. Steelskin
4. Blood Rage
5. Convocation
6. Despair (Manually cast Despair on hard bosses. You don’t need this curse for general mapping, since the build shreds everything so quickly.)

Boots

1. Dash
2. Second Wind Support
3. Lifetap Support
4. Cooldown Recovery Support // Use Enhance Support for budget. But remember to swap it for Cooldown Recovery Support later. This gem setup will drastically reduce Dash’s cooldown! Apply quality to all gems!

Gloves

1. Arrogance Support
2. Precision

1. Raise Spectre (Aim for a minimum of a level 20/20 gem)
2. Companionship Support // For budget, use Minion Life Support, but try to get a Companionship Support as soon as possible, since it will make your character tankier!
   
   For the gems to work, you don’t want a 4-link setup for the gloves! (Check the image)

For the Spectre, you will use one Perfect Guardian Turtle (or Guardian Turtle for budget; but you really need to use Perfect later since it will grant us Determination aura for free).

This minion is very important, as it activates the Farrul Ascendancy node “Fertile Will” in addition to providing its own powerful buffs. It’s also extremely tanky and can survive even the toughest encounters.
The Fertile Will Ascendancy node will also help keep this Spectre alive, even in tough situations like Nightmare Maps and Simulacrums.

Helmet

1. Purity of Elements
2. Grace

1. Lifetap Support
2. Frenzy (Useful for bossing; you don’t need to spam it in maps.)

For the gems to work, you don’t want a 4-link setup for the helmet! (Check the image)

Remember always to level up your gems and apply quality; quality can provide significant benefits for your gems. You can apply quality by using Gemcutter's Prism.

Remember that at level 22, Shrapnel Ballista grants you one extra totem! You can reach that level by using a level 21/20 Shrapnel Ballista skill gem and a The Iron Fortress with one of the following corruptions: +1 to Level of Socketed Gems or +2 to Level of Socketed Projectile Gems.
