Path of Building – Passive Skill Tree

Every build I release will use the community fork of Path of Building. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.

Since players have different budgets, I will provide two versions of this build: a non- Mageblood version and a Mageblood version.

To simplify things, I will refer to the item slots where you will socket the gems.
But remember that in POE1, you can socket these gem setups into any item that has the correct number of linked sockets and the appropriate colors.

**Because this is a late endgame setup, all gems should be leveled up, unless a specific level is specified, and have 20% quality on them.

Body Armour

1. Shrapnel Ballista

5. Increased Critical Strikes Support (Again, Increased Critical Strikes! I’ve seen a bunch of players taking Increased Critical Damage, which does not benefit our build!)

4. Faster Attacks Support

Boots

1. Dash
2. Second Wind Support

Gloves

2. Automation Support
   *For this setup to work, you’ll need to add an Enlighten Support (level 2 or 3) to your aura setup.

1. Portal (white gem; can be inserted into any socket color!)
2. Cast on Death Support
   *You can drop this if you want! it offers minor utility for the non- Mageblood version of the build. I use this QoL setup on all my Path of Exile 1 builds because I’m a lazy guy.
   
   For the gems to work, you don’t want a 4-link setup for the gloves! (Check the image)

Helmet

1. Purity of Elements
2. Grace
3. Enlighten Support (lvl. 2 or lvl. 3; you don’t need level 4!)
4. Vitality(Level 1!) OR Precision(Level 1!). These can be used if you have a Watcher's Eye with some useful Vitality or Precision modifiers. Make sure they are level 1 so they don’t reserve much of your mana!

Imbued Gems

In Patch 3.28, we received the ability to imbue our Skill Gems with level 1 Support Gems. Here is a list of the most impactful imbues for our Shrapnel Ballista Skill Gem:
To imbue, we will use a Coin of Skill (green) on a level 20/20 uncorrupted gem.

Considerable DPS Boost (ordered from best to worst):
Withering Touch Support (if you go for this imbue, you will socket in the body armour Greater Multiple Projectiles Support 21/20 and remove the Withering Touch Support 21/20 support )
Multiple Projectiles Support
Greater Multiple Projectiles Support
Returning Projectiles Support
Momentum Support
Faster Attacks Support

Honorable mentions:
Pierce Support (it gives you better clear in Simulacrums; you can drop the Medium Cluster Jewel with the Aerodynamics notable)

*I remind you that having multiple projectiles for Shrapnel Ballista will give you a significant DPS boost (the projectiles shotgun enemies).

Remember always to level up your gems and apply quality; quality can provide significant benefits for your gems. You can apply quality by using Gemcutter's Prism.
