POEGuy's Siege Ballista Hierophant PoB & Gems (Poe Settlers of Kalguur)
Path of Building – Passive Skill Tree
You can find an optimized Path of Building here. Every build I release will use the community fork of Path of Building. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.
If you’re new to Path of Building, we have a guide available here.
Remember that inside, you have three Skill Tree progressions. Start with the one closest to your level and work your way up. The Skill Tree nodes need to be unlocked in the suggested order.

Awakened Gems (Reminder)
A lot of gems nowadays in Path of Exile have Awakened versions. These versions will generally be a lot more potent than the widely available Regular versions. Therefore, they should be purchased whenever you can afford to do so. When the gems listed here mention Awakened Gems, you are supposed to use their regular versions until you can afford the upgrade.
For most people, leveling these Gems up takes way too much time, so you’re generally offered two choices:
1) You can buy a leveled version.
2) You can buy Wild Brambleback beasts and use the Menagerie craft to upgrade a non-corrupted Awakened Gem, increasing its level by 1.

*To simplify things for new Path of Exile 1 players, I will name the item slots where you will socket the gems.
But remember that in POE1, you can socket these gem setups into any item that has the correct number of linked sockets and the appropriate colors.

Remember always to level up your gems and apply quality; quality can provide significant benefits for your gems. If you’re new to the game, note that by pressing and holding down the ALT key on a gem, you can view and read its quality effects! You can apply quality by using Gemcutter's Prism. You can also buy low-level gems with quality already on them from the trade website, or run Labs for the Forge rewards.
Remember that at level 22, Siege Ballista grants you one extra totem! You can reach that level by using a level 21/20 Siege Ballista skill gem and a
Briskwrap with one of the following corruptions: +1 to Level of Socketed Gems or +2 to Level of Socketed Projectile Gems. Later, you’ll switch to a crafted rare body armour that also brings Siege Ballista to level 22 (Check the crafting timestamp from the video guide if you want that).
Enhance Support level 4 is the best pick for our
Siege Ballista gem setup! Quality on the Siege Ballista gives us a significant increase in attack speed! Its 3x times more powerful than using
Faster Attacks Support.
