The Stages

This is a list of gear used in each phase of the build, the phases are meant to lead one into the next for a smooth trip from leaguestart to endgame.

Leaguestart

This first stage is meant for leaguestart into early maps. The uniques here are quite cheap and all bring a lot of value so buy them ASAP. I personally didn’t turn on Petrified Blood until level 82, but you can start testing it out whenever you have enough mitigation and regen.

Midrange

The Burden of Truth The Burden of Truth is a huge uprade to defense because it splits damage between life and ES while also allowing flasks to apply to both. A large cluster with Doryanis Lesson is required before you can swap belts, you can run with more than 8 added passives or drop Thunderstruck from it, but you must get Doryanis Lesson. The % life regeneration mod on boots/gloves is only available on armour base types, and we want ES because of our belt., so armour/ES bases are important. The regen is a very powerful mod for us because it scales both life and ES regen. Before dropping the Oskarms you must be getting assassins mark from a trigger wand setup.

Endgame

Mostly the same as last phase, but with more expensive rares and corrupted uniques. We also add several jewels. Don’t miss the enchants on helm, boots and belt.

Item Searches

  • Watchers Eye – Precision crit multi, and a zealotry mod. The zealotry crit chance is cheaper, but it loses value as your crit chance goes up.
  • Small Cluster Jewel – 2 Passives with fettle. You can get 3 passives at first to save cash.
  • Medium Cluster Jewel – 4-5 Passives with Basics of Pain and Pressure Points.
  • Large Cluster Jewel – 8 Passives with Thunderstruck, Snowstorm, and Doryani’s Lesson. You can get it without doryani’s at first, but it’s where we get life leech after dropping the leaguestart doryani belt.

Armour/Weapons

Helm

Crown of the Inward Eye Crown of the Inward Eye with an enchant for Zealoty or Determination reservation efficiency. Giving lots of armour and ES plus the Transfiguration to get damage from our life nodes, this helmet is common enough to be available early and easy to find enchants on. Also has many desirable corrupt outcomes.

Amulet

A lot of damage can come from this slot, even better than what’s shown here would be +1/+1 and crit multi. This is one of the slots we need to use to hit DEX requirements so I recommend a Citrine base.

Chest

Every single mod on Inpulsa's Broken Heart Inpulsa's Broken Heart is fantastic for us, and because it’s fairly common we can eventually get a +2 Duration or +2 AoE corrupt for big gains.

Boots

Lategame we get shock immune from Inpulsa and Freeze immune from pantheons, leaving only Ignite which can be handled with a ring corrupt once res is covered. This leaves the boots free to give us tailwind and non-crafted onslaught for a substantial speed increase. There are even fancier things that can be done here, I will cover them in the crafting video.

Gloves

Unnerve increases our damage and allows us to use a belt enchant for increased crit chance. Hinder reduces enemy movement speed which is helpful defensively. The life regen mod is only available on armour bases, which is why we go for armour/ES.

Belt

This unique will split incoming damage between your life and ES pools, you want 1500-2k ES to make full use of it. Supreme Decadence means our flasks will also increase Energy Shield to help sustain both pools taking damage.

Ring 1

Elder base for crit multi, however much DEX you need, and the -mana cost craft are the important things here. Whatever resists you need and life after that.

Ring 2

Because inquisitors don’t rely on elemental penetration for any part of our damage, we only need one Call of the Brotherhood Call of the Brotherhood.

Wands

These are going to be your highest-cost items, but they don’t need to be this good unless you want to kill pinnacle bosses. Flat lightning to spells also works and is a cheaper mod, and lightning damage is interchangeable with spell damage. One of these MUST have the trigger craft, and assassins mark socketed in it.

Jewels

Uniques

Cluster Jewels

Large: 8 Passive with Thunderstruck, Snowstorm and Doryani’s Lesson. The knockback from thunderstorm can often be a lifesaver, and doryani’s lesson provides our life leech. Snowstorm is big damage.

Medium: 4 or 5 Passive with Basics of Pain and Pressure Points. The classic big damage crit clusters. these get better the more crit you have, and they give a lot of it themselves. Expensive at first but don’t forget about them.

Small: 2 Passive with Fettle, just a really nice pickup of life since we need to do a lot of pathing.

Flasks

The only unique we use is Bottled Faith Bottled Faith, but you don’t need that until endgame. At first just use a diamond flask in that slot.

Being lowlife gives access to a powerful flask mod.

Utility

I like to roll the utility flasks similar to this, with charges gained when hit plus some elemental protection.

Lot’s of flexibility here, since Diamond, Amethyst, Quartz, Granite, Quicksilver, and Silver are all useful.

My normal setup would be Granite, Quartz, Amethyst and either diamond or Bottled Faith.
