Does Path of Exile 2 Campaign Still Grant 100 Spirit?

A recent Reddit thread raised the discussion around how much Spirit players get from completing the Path of Exile 2 campaign.

With the removal of the “Cruel” difficulty, some players assumed the total was reduced to 60. But the good news is that you still get 100 Maximum Spirit in total from the campaign!

The difference is that the last +40 Spirit now comes from an Interlude boss fight, instead of Cruel.

Here is the full breakdown of where you will get your Spirit during the campaign!

Act 1 – The King in the Mists (+30 Spirit)

• Location: Freythorn. You will have to progress the Ominous Altars quest that is given to you at the Hunting Grounds. This quest requires you to activate three different Ritual Altars in Freythorn, before you can activate the one that will summon the boss.
• Drops the Gembloom Skull, granting +30 Maximum Spirit.

Act 3 – Ignagduk, the Bog Witch (+30 Spirit)

• Location: The Azak Bog. For this one, you first need to take the quest called “Tribal Vengeance” from Servi in the Ziggurat Encampment.
• Drops the Gemrot Skull, granting +30 Maximum Spirit.

Interlude – Lythara, the Wayward Spear (+40 Spirit)

• Location: Kriar Village, Interlude Act
• Drops the Gemcrust Skull, granting +40 Maximum Spirit.

So, if you thought the campaign only gave +60 this patch, worry not, it has just been restructured. By clearing all three bosses, you will still reach the full +100 Spirit cap before endgame.
