Introduction
This build is a Mana Stacking Stormweaver that uses
Spark as its main skill while automatically triggering
Comet through
Cast on Critical.
The main idea behind the build is to keep the gameplay as simple as possible while still having strong clear and single-target damage. For the majority of your gameplay, this is essentially a one-button build — you continuously cast
Spark while Comets are automatically triggered as you critically strike enemies.
This Mana Stacking Stormweaver can easily reach 5,000+ Mana, scaling all the way to 8,000–10,000 Mana with higher investment, making the build incredibly tanky.
Strengths and Weaknesses
- Simple Playstyle – Mostly a one-button build
- Great for Dense Content – Spark becomes especially effective when there are lots of enemies and projectiles can hit repeatedly
- High Endgame Ceiling
- Not a Cheap Starter – The full Mana Stacking CoC setup can be difficult to put together on a low budget
- Requires Proper Setup – Enough mana, enough critical hit chance and enough Cost Efficiency
Build Mechanics
This build revolves around Mana Stacking, high Critical Hit Chance, Critical Damage Bonus, and triggering
Comet through
Cast on Critical. There are a few important requirements you need to meet for the build to function properly.
The build uses
Mana Remnants,
Siphon Elements and
Remnants of Kalguur, together with Arcane Remnants from the Passive Tree. These mechanics work together as a core part of the build’s Mana and overall setup.
We are relying on
Cloak of Defiance with 50%+ of damage taken from Mana before Life, 20% from our Ascendancy point Force of Will, 15% from The Greatwolf’s Rune of Willpower, and the rest up to 100% from the Passive Tree. The more % damage taken from Mana before Life you have on Body Armor, the less you have to take from the Passive Tree.
Critical Hit Chance:
Spark should have 90%+ Critical Hit Chance. Since
Spark is responsible for triggering
Comet through
Cast on Critical, having low Critical Hit Chance will result in significantly fewer times for
Cast on Critical to trigger
Comet.
Mana Stacking:
You should have at least 5,000 Maximum Mana before playing the build as a proper Mana Stacker. From there, you can push the build much further, reaching 8,000–10,000 Mana with better gear and investment.
Cast on Critical & Spirit:
You need an Absent Amulet with
Cast on Critical to comfortably fit the build’s Spirit setup. Without the amulet, you will need to use any Scepter to provide enough Spirit for all the required Spirit Gems.
Ascendancy
- Constant Gale – Grants permanent Arcane Surge, giving 15% increased Cast Speed and 20% more Mana Regeneration Rate.
- Force of Will – 20% of Damage is taken from Mana before Life and increases the effect of Arcane Surge per 10% missing mana. This is what will help up get to 100% of damage is taken from Mana before life so we don’t have to take Mind Over Matter.
- Tempest Caller – Grants the Skill Elemental storm and it triggers on Critical hit with Spells.
- Multiplying Squalls – Grants +2 to the Limit for Elemental Skills, allowing us to have more elemental skill effects active at the same time before the oldest ones disappear.
Skill Tree
- This interactive skill tree gives you an overview of the build’s final state. When assigning travel Attribute Nodes, you will want to account for the requirements of your Skill Gems and Gear, and you may have to respec some nodes as you find upgrades and progress.
- For Jewels, we have Sapphire jewels with double Critical Hit Chance and one Critical Damage Bonus, or one Critical Hit Chance and double Critical Damage Bonus, based on how much Critical Hit Chance you have on your Spark, % increased Effect of Suffixes, and either % increased Spell Damage or % increased Elemental Damage.
- One Sapphire jewel with Recover 2% of Maximum Mana on kill, double Critical Hit Chance, increased effect of Suffixes, and % increased Spell Damage.
- On a lower budget, just focus on Critical Hit Chance or Critical Hit Chance for Spells, and Critical Damage Bonus or Critical Damage Bonus for Spells, and % increased Spell Damage.
From Nothing with Conduit and a Time-Lost Sapphire with 1% increased Maximum Mana, Very Large Radius, and either double Critical Hit Chance and one Critical Damage Bonus or one Critical Hit Chance and double Critical Damage Bonus for Notable Passives.- If you cannot afford
From Nothing with a Time-Lost Sapphire you can do even more normal Sapphires or a
Heart of the Well with with double Gain % Damage as Extra Lightning and Cold Damage and Critical Hit Chance and Increased Critical Damage Bonus.

Build Files
If you would like to have an in-game guide to see the recommended Passive Tree and Skill Gems, you can download this file. It will need to be placed in the folder found at this file-path:
C:\Users[Your Username]\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2\BuildPlanner
Please keep in mind that a .build file does not replace a written guide, as there is a lot of information that can’t reasonably be added to that file in a digestible way. For the best experience, and to make sure you have the most up-to-date information, make sure you refer to both the in-game file and the written guide here!

Unique Items
Cloak of Defiance is not mandatory for the build, you can do a normal Energy Shield Body Armor but you have to take Mind Over Matter from Passive tree.- You can use
Headhunter instead of
Mageblood, it’s gonna be way more damage once you stack it up but if you feel comfortable with the damage and prefer Rarity use a
Mageblood.
Kalandra’s Touch we are using this to reflect the Mnemonic Ring since it will be really expensive to buy one with T1 Cost Efficiency of Spells, to maximum mana and % increased Maximum mana.
High Budget Options
Runeseeker’s Call with 6 sockets, +300 to maximum Runic Ward from Runeforging and Legacy of Lifespring.
Temporalis with at least -1.99 seconds to Cooldown.-
Voices with at least 2 Jewel Sockets.
