Path of Building – Passive Skill Tree

You can find the PoB here: https://pobb.in/o3c20JfO2FtJ. Every build we release will use the community fork of Path of Building, which is maintained and updated in a much more regular fashion than the original one. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.

If you are not comfortable with Path of Building, you can check the link in PobbIn. However, we heavily advise you to use Path of Building for which we have a Path of Building Guide

Awakened and Exceptional Gems

The Awakened Gems have been removed as of patch 3.28. As of yet, we have not really received any direct compensation for that, but we did get Void Shockwave, which is extremely good. I would recommend you acquire this gem as soon as possible.

Gem Links

Cyclone Cyclone – Main Link (6-Link)

Cyclone’s Damage will scale really hard if you can get level 5 versions of the 2 suggested awakened gems. If you’re not playing enough to get those to level 5 fast, I recommend buying level 5’s.

League content, Coins

With the arrival of the endgame rework in 3.28, we got a new currency, coins.
Three of them allow us to imbue gems with level 1 versions of support gems, intelligence, dexterity and strength related respectively to their types of coins.
Some of these will open up options for builds to offload their worst supports, and for some builds, the level modifiers are still too strong. You’re probably wondering which coins are relevant to this specific build, so let’s talk about that.
The first, and perhaps most important thing to note, is that this system has a lot of RnG involved. It’s random which possible support gem from the respective colours list you get. It is going to take a lot of attempts to hit the correct gem, and it will get expensive. As a result, coins are, in our opinion, a relatively late addition to most builds, as the cost is prohibitive.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about coins specific to this build.

Cyclone has pretty poor level scaling, so we absolutely want to imbue it with something. There are options here, but one of them stands out as the far better alternative.
For our main gem, Cyclone of Tumult Cyclone of Tumult, we’re looking for Infused Channelling Support Infused Channelling Support as our coined imbue gem. This support comes with a whopping 12% reduced damage taken from hits and a decent damage multiplier even at level 1.
It is without a doubt the best support we can get.
Any of the normal supports can be used in a pinch, as they let you fit the gem normally. This would result in slightly worse damage, but it is not a big deal.
