Ascendancy (Templar – Inquisitor)

Sanctuary

Sanctuary provides you with some much needed damage whilst leveling. It’ll make your prgoress through the campaign a lot smoother.

Pious Path

Pious Path is what enables Inquisitor builds. It’ll make it so you can sustain Righteous Fire later but for now will be there to provide you with a ton of Regeneration whilst leveling.

Righteous Prodivence

Because of you attribute scaling and the amount you’ll be obtaining naturally, you’re going to be getting at least 200% increased critical strike chance from this Ascendancy point. Nothing to be shy about!

Inevitable Judgement

Pretty big point for most inquisitors as it allows you to forego any source of penetration in the build as long as you’re critically striking, which we are almost always. A very solid damage upgrade for our otherwise full tank build.

Bandits

This build really doesn’t need anything from the Bandit options, so you should kill all. Oak is just too weak to warrant the two skill points and Alira and Kraityn really don’t do anything for us. Two skill points from Eramir it is!

Pantheons

Major God

No debate here, Soul of the Brine King, because it’s the most convenient way to become freeze immune. Make sure to upgrade it to obtain the Freeze immunity.

Minor God

Again, no real choice here, Soul of Abberath is a necessary upgraded Pantheon to deal with burning ground. Playing without burning ground immunity nowadays is just borderline impossible.

Upgrading your Pantheons

Pantheon powers can be upgraded by using Divine Vessel in the Map Device while you are activating the particular Map that contains the boss you need. Once you’ve killed the boss and captured his soul, you can consume the Divine Vessel, which’ll show up filled in the map device, or deliver it to Sin in Oriath for extra dialogue relating to the game’s lore.
