PoE2 Free Weekend Gives You Cosmetic Rewards Just for Playing

In case you missed it: You can play Path of Exile 2 this weekend and score free cosmetic gear!

Path of Exile 2 finally goes free-to-play for a weekend, and Grinding Gear Games is throwing in exclusive cosmetics as a thank-you for logging in. Here is the easy, fun part: if you just show up and play, even if only for a little bit, you will walk away with some free goodies.

What you can earn for free:

Exile’s Hood – just reach the Clearfell Encampment
Exile’s Staff Skin – kill the Rotten Druid in the Grim Tangle (Act One)
Exile’s Cloak – defeat Count Geonor at the end of Act One

This is 100% free microtransactions – no purchases required, no strings attached. All you have to do is join in during the Free Weekend (August 29 to September 1).

Play for free from August 29 to 31, to earn a cool cosmetic in Path of Exile 2 — In-game preview of the Exile’s Hood, Staff Skin, and Cloak.

Quick reminder: we already covered the full Free Weekend announcement last week (you can find that post here) – with all the info on how to join in. But these cosmetics definitely deserved their own spotlight. They might be the easiest in-game unlocks we have seen so far.
