Progression

This build has multiple stages to work through as your character improves, that way you always know what to be upgrading from leaguestart to endgame.

Leaguestart

This is for either a fresh league or a start with zero currency. The only goal of this PoB is to make it through acts into early maps and allow you to farm. You only need to buy Obscurantis specifically for this stage, other than that you are saving for the HoAG transition.

Transition Checklist

Don’t switch to full Herald of Agony until you have all of these things.

Large Cluster – 8 passives with Renewal, don’t worry about anything else.
Medium Cluster – 4 passives with Pure Agony, again nothing else matters.
Small Cluster – 2 passive Feast of Flesh. This gives you massive life gain on hit from stormrain.

Transition

Two very easy upgrades should be Grip of the Council and Circle of Nostalgia, both are available early for a reasonable price. Get a helmet with +1 minion gems plus some life. Start watching the price of Maloney's Mechanism and buy when you can. Keep working on the cluster setup, you should already have a large medium and small so add another medium and the reservation small. Don’t forget you can upgrade to Vulnerability on hit corrupted gloves, just make sure to have the anoint.

Endgame

This stage is mainly finishing the cluster setup and buying the expensive pieces. Biggest is the forbidden jewels for First to Strike, Last to Fall, these might take awhile to save for but it’s a huge upgrade. Look for a +1 socketed gem corrupt on chest!

There may be some crafting required to hit our ideal 14% suppression and +2 minion helmet, but just save up for a 14% suppress fracture and the process becomes very straightforward.

Anoint

Anointing is accessed through Cassia, it gives you access to one extra node on the talent tree.

Gems

Storm Rain (Bow)

The main goal of this setup is to poison enemies as fast as possible, giving us Virulence stacks that increase our minions damage. Since we don’t need to deal damage directly with storm rain, keep it at level 1.
